Studio Dennis
Overlapping Botanicals, 2022Council’s Street Art collection now includes a work by Studio Dennis.
The design is based upon the experience of walking along a bush trail in the early morning, with various reflections and illuminations refracting off the plant forms, creating overlaps and translucent shapes within.
This heightened version also includes some plant forms that spill over the amphitheatre space to give a sense of dimension to the shapes. The work also offers the potential to sit within the manmade environment and capture a different feeling of nature in the area.
